1. If you do not currently have a network connection (i.e. you cannot access the internet), you will need to setup a dial-up connection, if you already have a connection proceed to step 2.
2. You will need to set up your Proxy.
3. Set your Windows Updates to Automatic, then Proceed to Microsoft Windows Update, and Download all the High-Priority Updates.
4. Download Anti-Virus software from here. Then continue to install it. Only run one Anti-Virus program, unistall any other with the 'Add/Remove Programs' located in the Control Panel.
5. Download Anti-Spyware Software and install it. Only run one Anti-Spyware Program, unistall any other with the 'Add/Remove Programs' located in the Control Panel.
